Thrive by Shopventory alternative: how QuickSync compares

Thrive Inventory, formerly Shopventory, is a back-office stock system that meters transactions and ties the number of connected integrations to the plan tier. QuickSync syncs one stock count across up to eight shops on every tier and prices catalogue size. The two overlap less than the search results suggest.

QuickSync and Thrive Inventory on the axes that change the bill

Figures for Thrive Inventory are from their public materials. Not a live quote.

Checked as of 10 August 2026. Sources and any caveats sit in the table caption below.

Thrive figures from shopventory.com/pricing, read 10 August 2026. That page publishes more than one figure per tier and this page does not resolve the difference. The plan cards and one feature table give Starter $55, Standard $119, Professional $249 and Elite $519. A second table on the same page gives Standard $79, Professional $199, Elite $399 and Enterprise $799. A third gives Starter $54 and Enterprise $1,099. The trial is printed as 14 days in three places and 30 days in one. Integration and transaction limits agree across all three tables, so those are the figures compared below. thriveinventory.com did not respond when checked on the same date. QuickSync figures match /pricing/.

Who each tool is for. Pick Thrive when the job is stock control inside a shop or a chain: purchase orders, bills of materials, assemblies, stocktakes with approvals, label printing, vendor management and wholesale price lists. Pick QuickSync when the job is one stock count across marketplaces, and when Etsy, eBay, Amazon or TikTok Shop are part of the picture.
What differs

What to weigh before you switch

Price shape, sync window, and shop cap. Not a feature checklist.

Integration count is the tier

On Thrive the number of connected systems is a plan boundary rather than a setting: one integration on Starter, two on Standard, five on Professional, ten on Elite. Connecting a third channel changes your plan even when your sales do not move. QuickSync offers the same eight-shop ceiling on Lite as on Ultra+, so a third shop changes the multiplier and leaves the tier alone.

Their pricing page disagrees with itself

Read on 10 August 2026, shopventory.com/pricing carried three plan tables. Standard appears as $119 and as $79, Professional as $249 and as $199, Elite as $519 and as $399. The free trial is described as both 14 and 30 days. We quote both figures instead of picking the one that flatters us, and we would rather you confirmed your tier with Thrive than took a number from a rival.

What QuickSync does not do

Purchase orders, bills of materials, assemblies, recipe costing, price-tag and label printing, stocktakes with approvals, vendor management, wholesale price lists and invoicing. Thrive has all of it and QuickSync has none of it. Products are unlimited on every Thrive tier, where QuickSync charges by catalogue size. If those are the jobs, Thrive is the tool and this page is not an argument against it.

FAQ

Questions sellers ask when they compare

Is QuickSync a Shopventory alternative?

For sellers whose problem is one stock count across marketplaces and a bill that ignores how much they sold, yes. For sellers who bought Thrive to run purchasing, stocktakes and label printing, no, and swapping one for the other would lose those jobs. Read the table above before you switch either way.

Is Thrive Inventory the same thing as Shopventory?

Same company and same product under a newer name. shopventory.com still serves the pricing page, and the copy on it says Thrive Inventory. Their own FAQ gives contact addresses on two domains, help@shopventory.com and help@thrivemetrics.com. We could not reach thriveinventory.com on 10 August 2026.

Which one costs less?

It turns on shape rather than size. Three channels, 2,000 sales a month and 2,000 variations: Thrive needs Professional because Standard allows only two integrations, printed as either $199 or $249 a month, and QuickSync is Pro at $29 for two shops plus $29 for the third, so $58. Reverse it with 40,000 products and low sales and Thrive wins, because its product count is unlimited and our top published tier is 20,000 items.

Does Thrive sync Etsy, eBay or Amazon?

Not according to their own FAQ, which lists Clover, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and Square. Etsy, eBay, Amazon and TikTok Shop are QuickSync integrations. If a marketplace is where your stock goes wrong, that is the difference that decides this.

Can I run both?

Some sellers keep Thrive as the purchasing and stock system of record and let QuickSync hold marketplace listings level. That is two subscriptions and two things to learn, so it only pays when both jobs are real.
