The first thing to know about connecting Shopify and Etsy in 2026 is what no longer works: Shopify’s own Marketplace Connect has retired Etsy. New Etsy connections can’t be made through it, and merchants already running one have been told development is frozen. Most round-ups on this subject were written before that change, which makes them easy to date.
So the field is third-party apps, and the five below are the ones with real review volume. Every figure was read from the app’s own Shopify App Store listing on 24 August 2026. QuickSync is one of the five; each section says where that app is the better pick, ours included, and the last section says where ours isn’t.
The five at a glance
| App | From | Rating (reviews) | Built around | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Etsy Integration by QuickSync | $19/mo, two shops | 4.9 (1,946) | One stock count across shops | Stock that also sells through a till, a marketplace or a second store |
| CedCommerce Etsy Integration | Free to install; plans $9–$59/mo | 4.5 (1,187) | Bulk listing with profiles | Big catalogues moving onto Etsy; the $9 entry plan |
| Etsy Integration ‑ DPL | $19.99–$59.99/mo | 4.9 (906) | Shopify-to-Etsy sync | A dedicated pipe with 24/7 support |
| Etsy Integration by shopUpz | $14.99–$38/mo | 4.6 (185) | Etsy-first workflows | Etsy-native sellers adding Shopify |
| LitCommerce | From $29/mo by channels and listings | 4.8 (910) | Many marketplaces, one dashboard | Listing one store on five-plus marketplaces |
Two Etsy rules that decide more than any feature list
- Two option types per listing. Etsy allows two, so a product sold by size, colour and material on Shopify has to fold down to two on Etsy. The apps differ in whether they show you the affected products before publishing or fail on them after.
- One SKU per listing. Etsy sellers reuse SKUs across colourways more than anyone. Two listings sharing one code means two possible stock counts, and how an app handles that decides whether your first sync is clean or a mess to unpick.
Whatever you choose, check its answer to both before connecting anything. Our Shopify Etsy integration page documents ours, cell by cell.
Etsy Integration by QuickSync
The most-reviewed app on this page: 4.9 stars across 1,946 reviews, free to install, with plans from $19 to $99 a month where $19 covers two connected shops. Shopify reports a sale the moment it happens and Etsy is checked every five minutes for new orders, so the count corrects in one direction in about a second and in the other within five minutes. Listings move both ways, orders land in one list with tracking sent back, and duplicate Etsy SKUs are flagged and left out of sync rather than guessed at.
The structural difference from the two pipes below: a QuickSync plan isn’t Shopify-to-Etsy, it’s up to eight connected shops sharing one count. The same $19 that syncs Shopify and Etsy also takes a Square or Clover till or a second store. And because a new Etsy listing costs $0.20, nothing publishes to Etsy until you’ve looked at it.
Where it falls short: no listing templates or scheduled publishing, so a 5,000-item bulk move onto Etsy is CedCommerce’s game; the five-minute Etsy window means your fastest sellers deserve a unit of safety stock; and past eight connected integrations you’ve outgrown the plan shape.
CedCommerce Etsy Integration
CedCommerce’s listing machinery is the argument: profile-based bulk listing, category and attribute mapping, and the cheapest paid plan here at $9 a month with a free tier to start. 4.5 stars over 1,187 reviews. For a catalogue that isn’t on Etsy yet, it gets thousands of listings up faster than anything else on this page.
The rating is the lowest of the five, and the recurring review themes are mapping errors on variant-heavy products and support that starts from a script. One store to one Etsy shop.
Etsy Integration ‑ DPL
4.9 stars across 906 reviews and 24/7 support in the listing title, plans $19.99 to $59.99. A clean, dedicated Shopify-to-Etsy pipe, and reviewers consistently name the support as the reason they stay.
Same boundary as CedCommerce: one Shopify store on one side, one Etsy shop on the other. Anything else selling the same stock sits outside it.
Etsy Integration by shopUpz
The small specialist: 4.6 stars over 185 reviews, $14.99 to $38 a month, built noticeably Etsy-first, down to syncing customer details onto orders. Etsy-native sellers who added a Shopify storefront later tend to like that the Etsy side is treated as the main shop rather than the satellite.
The review base is a tenth of the bigger apps’, which cuts both ways: attentive, personal support now, and less certainty about what happens at scale.
LitCommerce
If Etsy is one of several marketplaces you plan to sell on, LitCommerce lists one store on fifteen-plus of them from a single dashboard, 4.8 stars over 910 reviews, from $29 a month on a grid of channels and listings with orders never metered. The breadth is the product.
Its sync cycle runs up to 15 minutes, three times Etsy’s five-minute order window above, and every marketplace you add moves the bill up a band. The maths is worked through in our LitCommerce alternatives guide.
The verdict, by fit
- Choose CedCommerce to put a big catalogue on Etsy for the first time, or to start at $9.
- Choose DPL for a dedicated Shopify-to-Etsy pipe with support you’ll actually use.
- Choose shopUpz if Etsy is home and Shopify is the addition.
- Choose LitCommerce if Etsy is the second of five marketplaces on your roadmap.
- Choose QuickSync if one count has to hold across Etsy, Shopify and anything else that sells the same stock, and you want nothing published to Etsy, at 20 cents a listing, without your say-so.
Before you price your listings, the fees deserve ten minutes: our free Etsy fee calculator covers the listing, transaction, processing and Offsite Ads fees on their three different bases.
