POS inventory management that keeps the till and the website on one number
Three of our eleven integrations are tills: Square, Clover and Lightspeed. Each one tells us the moment something scans, so the shelf and the listing stop disagreeing.
No credit card · nothing syncs until you switch it on
The register is the source here. Every shop below is a copy of that figure, less anything you hold back — one unit on eBay in this example.
One shelf, two systems that never speak
Your till counts what leaves the shop floor. Your website counts what leaves the listing. Both are right about themselves and wrong about each other.
The counter sells it first
Someone buys the last one at 16:20. The website is still offering it at 16:41, because nothing told the website. You refund a buyer who was going to be a regular.
So you hold stock back
The usual workaround is keeping a buffer off the website so the shop floor never runs short. It works, and it hides saleable stock from everyone who is not standing in your shop.
Sunday night data entry
The other workaround is counting everything after close and typing it into both systems. It is right on Sunday and wrong by Wednesday.
| A till and a website counting separately | One count behind both |
|---|---|
| The last one keeps selling online for an hour after it left the shop | The listing drops within a second of the drawer closing |
| Typing the same figures into the till and the website | You change it in one place, we write it to the rest |
| A buffer held back online so the shop floor never runs short | Everything listed, with the buffer applied per channel where you want it |
| A refund at the counter leaves the website one short | The refund puts the unit back and corrects every shop |
| No way to tell which sale made a number wrong | Every change carries the order and the shop that caused it |
The channels this vertical usually runs on
Sending an update to a channel is quick on all of them. Finding out that a channel changed something itself is pushed by most and checked on a timer by three. Orders divide the same way: ten hand theirs to us, six can be told to fill one, so the table asks those separately too.
| Channel | Stock | Sends us its orders | Can be sent one to fill | Tracking back | How we hear of a change |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Both ways | Yes | Yes | Square does not accept one | The moment it happens | |
| Both ways | Yes | Yes | Clover does not accept one | The moment it happens | |
| Both ways | Yes | Yes | Marked shipped, no tracking number | The moment it happens | |

| Both ways | Yes | No, it sends only | Sent to the order | We check every two minutes |
What a till cannot do
These come from the three POS APIs rather than from us, so no tool can work around them. Worth knowing before you buy anything, ours included.
No tracking number back
Square and Clover have no field to write one into, and Lightspeed marks the sale fulfilled while discarding the carrier and number. If you post orders from shop-floor stock, that detail stays in QuickSync and in whichever shop took the order.
One SKU, one line
We match items by SKU. If two lines in the same shop share a SKU we flag both and leave them unsynced rather than guessing which you meant.
Counts, not purchasing
QuickSync keeps the places you sell in agreement with each other. It does not raise purchase orders or track what a supplier owes you.
Four steps, and none of them a migration
Connect your till
You sign in to it the normal way and approve QuickSync on its own screen. Nothing to copy or paste, and you can withdraw it from either side whenever you like.
Connect where you sell online
The same again. One shop on its own has nothing to stay in step with, so you need at least two before anything happens.
Let it match your items
We read both catalogues and line them up by SKU. Anything that matches is ready to sync; anything that does not is listed for you to pair by hand or leave alone.
Watch, then switch it on
Sync starts off. You watch what we would have changed, and turn it on per channel once the list looks right.
Questions shop owners ask before connecting anything
Which POS systems does QuickSync connect to?
Square, Clover and Lightspeed X-Series. All three move stock in both directions, all three can be sent an order to fill, and all three tell us the moment something changes rather than being checked on a timer.
How quickly does a counter sale reach my website?
Square, Clover and Lightspeed push the change to us as it happens, and we write it out to the other shops in about a second. eBay and Amazon cap how often anyone may send them updates, so those two land a second or so behind the rest.
Can I charge a different price at the till and online?
Yes. You set a rule once per channel — a percentage, a fixed uplift, or a price you type yourself — and we apply it every time the price changes. Nothing forces the till and the website to the same number.
What does Square keep on a sale?
2.6% + 15¢ in person on the Free plan, and 3.3% + 30¢ for an online checkout or invoice — Square raised both in 2026. The gap matters here because the same item sold at the till and on the website costs you different amounts, which is worth knowing before you set the price rule above. Our free Square fee calculator works out both, and the volume at which Plus or Premium pays for itself.
Does the tracking number go back to the till?
No for Square and Clover, which have no field for it. Lightspeed marks the sale shipped but does not keep the carrier or tracking number, so on all three the tracking stays in QuickSync and on whichever shop took the order.
Do I have to rebuild my catalogue?
No. We read what is already in your till and in your shop and match the two by SKU. You only touch the items that don’t match, and you can leave those unsynced for as long as you like.
What happens if my internet drops in the shop?
The till keeps trading, because it is the till’s own connection to its vendor that matters rather than ours. When the POS reaches us again we take the changes it queued and correct the other shops from there.
The combinations this usually involves
Each pair has its own page, because no two channels allow exactly the same things.
Or read about one channel on its own
What each one can and cannot do, and how quickly it does it.
Put the till and the website on one count
Connect your POS and one online shop, then sell something at the counter and watch the listing drop. If it does not do what this page says, you will know inside ten minutes.
