What Happens After a Square Sale
When someone buys something through Square, QuickSync sends the sale to QuickBooks as an invoice. The invoice includes the products, quantities, and prices from the Square receipt. QuickSync matches each product to the right QuickBooks item using its SKU.
If you have more than one Square location, QuickSync uses the combined inventory from the locations you choose during setup. This becomes the inventory quantity shown in QuickBooks.
The sync only goes from Square to QuickBooks. Nothing is sent back to Square, and QuickBooks does not create products or sales there. Shipping tracking stays in QuickSync because Square does not store tracking numbers.
