Six apps connect a Shopify store to eBay, and they are not interchangeable: two are listing tools, one is Shopify’s own sales channel, and three are sync services. Which one fits depends on a question most round-ups skip: is Shopify the centre of your business, or one of several places the same stock sells?
Every figure below was read from the app’s own Shopify App Store listing on 24 August 2026, and each section says where that app beats the others, including where it beats ours. QuickSync is one of the six, and there are sellers on this page we would send elsewhere.
First, pick your shape
- Shopify is your hub. eBay hangs off the Shopify admin as a channel. Marketplace Connect is built for exactly this and is free under 50 marketplace orders a month.
- You list in bulk on eBay. Templates, scheduled listings, auto-relist. That’s a listing tool: inkFrog or CedCommerce.
- The same stock sells in places Shopify can’t see. A Square or Clover till, a second marketplace, more than one Shopify store. Then you need a sync service that treats every shop as an equal: that’s the shape QuickSync and LitCommerce compete in.

Shopify Marketplace Connect
Shopify builds it, and it links your catalogue to eBay, Amazon, Walmart and Target Plus from inside the Shopify admin. It’s free to install, the first 50 marketplace orders a month cost nothing, and past that it takes 1% of each synced order, capped at $99 a month. If Shopify and eBay are your whole operation and you’re under 50 marketplace orders a month, start here; it costs nothing at that size and there is no app to evaluate.
Its shape is its limit. Shopify sits in the middle and eBay hangs off it, so anything Shopify can’t see, a till, a second Shopify store, stock edited on eBay itself, stays invisible. The 4.3 rating across 1,952 reviews is the lowest on this page, and the recurring complaints are category-mapping errors and sync delays at volume. Free has a support model to match.
CedCommerce eBay Integration
CedCommerce’s app writes eBay listings for you, with AI-drafted titles and item specifics, profile-based bulk listing, and two-way inventory and order sync. 4.8 stars over 873 reviews, free to install with paid plans from $19 to $89 a month. For a 3,000-SKU catalogue that isn’t on eBay yet, the listing machinery is the product, and it beats everything else on this page at that job.
It connects one Shopify store to eBay. The moment the same stock also sells through a counter or a second store, you’re back to the shape question above.
DPL eBay Integration
The highest rating at real volume here: 4.9 across 1,179 reviews, with 24/7 support named in the listing title and, by the reviews, actually answering. Plans run $19.99 to $199.99 a month. Product, inventory and order sync between one Shopify store and eBay, done well.
Like CedCommerce, it’s a Shopify-to-eBay pipe. It also has no free tier, so at the smallest scale Marketplace Connect undercuts it.
inkFrog for eBay
inkFrog has built eBay listing tools since before Shopify existed, and it shows in the feature set: listing templates, scheduled listings, and the lowest entry price on this page at $11 a month. Sellers who came to Shopify from eBay and miss their old templates tend to land here.
The 4.0 rating over 141 reviews is the weakest signal of the six, and inventory sync is the supporting act rather than the product.
LitCommerce
One dashboard listing a Shopify catalogue on fifteen-plus marketplaces, eBay included, with per-channel price rules and bulk templates, at 4.8 stars over 910 reviews. Pricing starts at $29 a month and moves on a grid of channels connected and listings managed, with orders unlimited at every step. If your plan is to try eBay this quarter and TikTok Shop or Temu the next, the breadth is the argument.

QuickSync for eBay
QuickSync is a sync service: it holds one stock count and corrects every connected shop to it. Shopify tells us the moment something sells and eBay is checked every two minutes, so a Shopify sale reaches eBay in about a second and an eBay sale reaches Shopify within two minutes of happening. Listings can be created and updated in both directions, orders land in one list, and tracking goes back to the eBay order. 4.9 stars over 105 reviews, $19 a month for two connected shops on the smallest plan, with support around the clock.
The reason to pick it is the reason the first table exists: it treats Shopify as one shop among several, not the hub. The same $19 plan that syncs Shopify and eBay also takes a Square or Clover till, an Etsy shop or a second Shopify store, and the count stays one number across all of them. Where it falls short, so you don’t find out later: eBay is checked rather than instant, so a two-minute window exists and fast sellers should hold a unit of safety stock. There are no listing templates or auto-relist; CedCommerce and inkFrog are better bulk listers. And a plan covers up to eight connected integrations, so a twenty-marketplace operation is LitCommerce’s territory, not ours.
The verdict, by fit
- Choose Marketplace Connect if Shopify is your only hub and you’re under 50 marketplace orders a month. Free beats everything until the cap bites.
- Choose CedCommerce or inkFrog if the job is getting thousands of listings onto eBay, with sync as the supporting act.
- Choose DPL if you want a dedicated Shopify-to-eBay pipe and expect to use the support.
- Choose LitCommerce if you’ll be on five marketplaces by summer.
- Choose QuickSync if the same stock sells anywhere Shopify can’t see: a till, a second store, another marketplace. One count, every shop corrected to it.
