Inventory limit

Wix mirrors the master store

Product edits made directly on Wix are overwritten on the next sync, by design: the master store is where the catalogue is edited, and Wix displays it. Stock and orders still move the moment they change, in both directions.

Review export and draft settings for Wix and Square

Connecting Wix and Square imports their catalogues. A confirmed Sync Products export can create missing products. Ongoing product syncing follows your master store on Pro or higher. Use Create as drafts where supported when you want to review copies before publication.

Speed

The counter is instant, and so is Wix

Neither side of this pair waits on a timer.

Square reports a counter sale the moment the card is tapped and Wix reports a web order the moment it’s placed, so each side is corrected from the other within a few seconds. A Saturday queue at the till and a busy evening on the site can share one shelf without the counts separating.

The one slower path is stock you edit by hand: on the Wix side, edit it in the master store or QuickSync rather than on Wix itself, because Wix mirrors the master’s catalogue and direct edits are overwritten on the next sync.

Forty characters, and no tracking into Square

Wix sets the code limit; Square has nowhere to put a number.

The shared SKU has to fit Wix’s 40 characters, the tighter side of this pair. Counter items with no code show up during matching, and giving them SKUs there is what makes the first sync clean.

Tracking goes to the Wix order, where the buyer looks for it. Square has no field for us to write a number into, so shipping detail for anything sent from counter stock lives in QuickSync and on the Wix side.

How do I connect Wix to Square?

Does Square integrate with Wix?

Do I have to re-list my Wix products on Square?

No. Existing Wix and Square listings match by SKU. A separate Sync Products export can create missing products. Ongoing product updates require Pro or higher and a master store. Review the export scope and draft setting before confirming a write.

Can I charge a different price on Square?

Yes, on Ultra or higher. Set a price-modification rule for Square in its store settings. Ongoing price updates follow the product master and the selected rule, so Wix and Square can use different prices.

Does the tracking number go back to both shops?

Supported shipment updates return to the original order when the connected fulfillment store supplies them. Wix return tracking is limited to supported carriers and eligible whole-order fulfillment updates. Unsupported carriers need manual handling in Wix. QuickSync does not push carrier or tracking numbers to Square.

Does a Wix order get recreated on Square?

Eligible Wix orders can create a routed copy in Square when you choose it as your fulfillment store and enable order syncing on Pro or higher. The original stays in its source store. Unsupported directions, order state and your settings can prevent a copy in Square.

What happens if a buyer cancels or I refund them on Wix or Square?

A refund alone does not restock an item. When the originating platform reports a stock increase, QuickSync propagates the updated quantity between Wix and Square.
