So if you came here hoping to send Squarespace card payments straight to your Square account, that is not possible. But that is usually not the real problem.

One thing to know before you start: Square does not have a tracking-number field. Tracking for Square orders stays in QuickSync, while Squarespace orders support tracking normally.

Square Squarespace Integration FAQs-
How quickly does Squarespace update after something sells on Square?
Under a second in normal conditions. Square tells us the moment the sale happens and we write the new count to Squarespace straight away. The reverse is the same when Squarespace sells. If either side is briefly unreachable we hold the update and keep trying rather than dropping it.
Can Square integrate with Squarespace?
For in-person payments only. You can take card payments through the Squarespace app with a Square Reader, but Squarespace does not accept Square as a processor for online checkout, where the options are Squarespace Payments, Stripe and PayPal. Keeping stock in step between a Square till and a Squarespace shop is a separate job, and that is the one QuickSync does.
Are Square and Squarespace the same company?
No. They are unrelated businesses with similar names, which is most of why this question gets asked so often. Square is a payments and point-of-sale company; Squarespace is a website and online store builder. Neither owns the other, and neither syncs stock to the other on its own.
How do I sync inventory between Square and Squarespace?
It takes a third-party tool, because neither platform reads the other’s catalogue. QuickSync matches items by SKU and holds one count between them, so a counter sale lowers the website and an online order lowers the till. Design SKUs to 60 characters or fewer, which is the tighter of the two limits.
Do I have to re-list my Square products on Squarespace?
No. We match your existing Square and Squarespace listings by SKU first, then by title, and hand you a short list of whatever we could not match. You can also copy a listing from one side to the other if you want it in both places; that step always waits for you.
Can I charge a different price on Squarespace?
Yes. Set a rule once for Squarespace: a percentage, a fixed uplift, or a price you type yourself. We apply it whenever the price changes, and nothing forces Square and Squarespace to the same number.
Does the tracking number go back to both shops?
Not to Square. Square has no way for us to send a tracking number back, so the shipping detail stays in QuickSync and in whichever shop the order came from.
Does a Squarespace order get recreated on Square?
