Listings do not move between Squarespace and Clover on their own. You decide when to copy them from one platform to the other, while stock can sync automatically once you enable stock syncing.
Orders Sync Faster Than Stock Edits
A Squarespace order reaches us as soon as it is placed because Squarespace sends an update right away. Manual stock changes work differently. When you change a quantity yourself in Squarespace, there is no instant update, so we check for those changes every few minutes.
This means sales on either side sync quickly, while manual stock edits need a little more time. If you update stock in Squarespace, give it a couple of minutes before checking Clover. Keeping a small buffer on your fastest-selling items can also help cover that short window.
SKU Limit and Tracking Catch
Clover gives you up to 100 characters for SKUs, while Squarespace gives you 60, so design your SKUs around the shorter limit.
Clover supports SKUs up to 100 characters, while Squarespace supports 60. Because products are matched using their SKU, you should keep your SKUs within the 60-character limit. If a SKU is longer, Squarespace can cut it off, which may stop the product from matching correctly.
Tracking works a little differently too. Clover does not support tracking numbers, so we cannot add them to Clover orders. If you ship an order using stock sold through Clover, the tracking information stays in QuickSync. Squarespace orders can still use tracking numbers as usual.

The stock goes back. A cancellation or a refund puts the item back into your count and we send the corrected number to both Squarespace and Clover.
