No tracking number back to Square
Square has no field for us to write a tracking number into, so shipping detail lives in QuickSync and in whichever shop the order came from. Counter sales rarely need it; posted ones are worth knowing about.
Nothing publishes itself to Wix or Square
Copying a listing from Wix to Square (or the other way) always waits for you to look at it. Stock is the only thing that moves on its own, and only once you have turned it on.
The counter is instant, and so is Wix
Neither side of this pair waits on a timer.
Square reports a counter sale the moment the card is tapped and Wix reports a web order the moment it’s placed, so each side is corrected from the other within a few seconds. A Saturday queue at the till and a busy evening on the site can share one shelf without the counts separating.

The shared SKU has to fit Wix’s 40 characters, the tighter side of this pair. Counter items with no code show up during matching, and giving them SKUs there is what makes the first sync clean.
Tracking goes to the Wix order, where the buyer looks for it. Square has no field for us to write a number into, so shipping detail for anything sent from counter stock lives in QuickSync and on the Wix side.

How quickly does Square update after something sells on Wix?
A few seconds in normal conditions. Wix tells us the moment the sale happens and we write the new count to Square straight away. The reverse is the same when Square sells. If either side is briefly unreachable we hold the update and keep trying rather than dropping it.
Does Square integrate with Wix?
Not directly: neither offers a built-in link, and Square can’t process the Wix checkout. QuickSync sits between them, matching items by SKU (40 characters or fewer, Wix’s limit) and correcting each side within a few seconds of a sale on the other.
How fast does a counter sale reach the website?
Within a few seconds. Square announces the sale immediately and the Wix listing is corrected straight after, so the website never keeps selling what the counter just sold out of.
Do I have to re-list my Wix products on Square?
No. We match your existing Wix and Square listings by SKU first, then by title, and hand you a short list of whatever we could not match. You can also copy a listing from one side to the other if you want it in both places; that step always waits for you.
Can I charge a different price on Square?
Yes. Set a rule once for Square: a percentage, a fixed uplift, or a price you type yourself. We apply it whenever the price changes, and nothing forces Wix and Square to the same number.
Does the tracking number go back to both shops?
Not to Square. Square has no way for us to send a tracking number back, so the shipping detail stays in QuickSync and in whichever shop the order came from.
What happens if a buyer cancels or I refund them on Wix or Square?
The stock goes back. A cancellation or a refund puts the item back into your count and we send the corrected number to both Wix and Square.
