Etsy also allows the same SKU on more than one listing, which we won’t guess between: duplicates are flagged and sit out of sync until each listing has its own code. And because a new Etsy listing costs $0.20, nothing publishes to Etsy until you’ve approved it.

Within five minutes. Etsy has no way of telling us the moment a sale happens, so we check it on a short timer instead. Once we have the sale, correcting Lightspeed takes under a second. The other direction is much quicker: Lightspeed tells us straight away. If either shop has an outage, we hold the update and retry until it goes through.
