The SKU that matches an item across the two has to fit eBay’s 50-character limit, the tighter side here. Trim long register codes before connecting and the first match is clean.
Shipping detail travels one way. The tracking number goes to the eBay order as normal, but Lightspeed records a sale as fulfilled without keeping a carrier or number against it, so the number stays visible in QuickSync and on eBay rather than on the register.

How quickly does Lightspeed update after something sells on eBay?
Within two minutes. eBay has no way of telling us the moment a sale happens, so we check it on a short timer instead. Once we have the sale, correcting Lightspeed takes under a second. The other direction is much quicker: Lightspeed tells us straight away. If either shop has an outage, we hold the update and retry until it goes through.
Can I sync inventory between Lightspeed and eBay?
Yes, with a sync tool between them: neither reads the other on its own. QuickSync matches by SKU (keep codes to eBay’s 50-character limit), corrects eBay in about a second after a counter sale, and picks up eBay orders within two minutes.
Where does the tracking number go on an eBay order?
