Etsy & Amazon

Etsy Amazon integration that keeps one stock count across both marketplaces

For sellers listing the same stock on Etsy and Amazon. One warehouse count, two marketplace storefronts. Amazon tells us the moment something sells, so Etsy is corrected in under a second. Etsy does not announce a sale, so we check it every five minutes for new orders instead.

Who this is for. You list the same SKUs on Etsy and Amazon and need one warehouse number behind both. Plan around Etsy’s check interval (orders up to five minutes) if that side is your busiest. Tracking numbers will not write back to Amazon, worth knowing before you buy if you ship a lot from that side.
What syncs

What a Etsy Amazon integration actually moves

One row per job, based on how QuickSync connects to Etsy and Amazon today. Where a side does not allow something, the cell says so.

Checked against how QuickSync connects to each shop, not against either shop’s marketing.

The one asymmetry worth knowing. Amazon tells us the second something sells. Etsy has no equivalent, so we go and look every five minutes for orders, every two for stock instead. Sending to Etsy is instant either way. It is only finding out about its own sales that waits for the next check, and safety stock covers that window.
Amazon stock Amazon holds is left alone. We always send your count to Amazon, but we only take changes back for items you ship yourself. Anything Amazon stores and ships keeps its own count.

Running two marketplaces from one warehouse by hand

Two marketplaces with two counts is how you oversell the same SKU in one afternoon. One warehouse number behind Etsy and Amazon is the fix.

Correcting Amazon takes a second or two once we have the sale. The order is in your packing list with the Etsy order number on it, and a tracking number added later goes back to Etsy on its own.

The other direction is faster: a sale on Amazon reaches Etsy in under a second, because Amazon pushes it to us the moment it happens.

Getting started

Connecting Etsy and Amazon takes about ten minutes

Most of that is us matching your catalogues. The two connections themselves are a login each.

Connect Etsy

You approve QuickSync from your Etsy account for the shop you want connected.

~1 minute

Connect Amazon

You authorise QuickSync in Seller Central for the marketplaces you sell in.

~1 minute

Let it match your products

We line the two catalogues up by SKU, then by title, and hand you a short list of anything we could not match. You decide what happens to those.

~5 minutes

Watch, then switch it on

Leave it watching for a few days and check the numbers agree. When you are happy, let it start making changes, one shop at a time.

Speed and limits

The limits: know them before you connect

Every Etsy Amazon integration has constraints. These are the ones that apply here.

Etsy waits; Amazon does not

An Amazon sale reaches Etsy in under a second. An Etsy sale reaches Amazon on our next look, which is within five minutes. Hold back a little safety stock and that window stops mattering.

Stock Amazon holds is left alone

We always send your count to Amazon, but we only take changes back for items you ship yourself. Anything Amazon stores and ships keeps its own count, which is Amazon’s to own.

Nothing publishes itself to Etsy or Amazon

Copying a listing from Etsy to Amazon (or the other way) always waits for you to look at it. Stock is the only thing that moves on its own, and only once you have turned it on.

Pricing

Two shops fits the smallest plan

Your catalogue size picks the plan, and your plan price covers two connected shops with every shop after that adding it again. Three shops on Lite is $38 a month.

Lite

$19/mo for two shops

1,000 items and up to eight connected integrations, with stock matched on both sides automatically. Enough for Etsy and Amazon on their own, at $19 a month for the two.

Pro

$29/mo for two shops

2,500 items and up to eight connected integrations. Listings and orders sync here as well as stock. Most sellers running two shops properly end up here.

Ultra at $69 and Ultra+ at $99 add larger catalogues, price rules and setup help. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no card.

FAQ

Questions people ask about this pair

How quickly does Amazon update after something sells on Etsy?

Within five minutes. Etsy has no way of telling us the moment a sale happens, so we check it on a short timer instead. Once we have the sale, correcting Amazon takes a second or two. The other direction is much quicker: Amazon tells us straight away. If either shop has an outage, we hold the update and retry until it goes through.

Do I have to re-list my Etsy products on Amazon?

No. We match your existing listings by SKU first, then by title, and hand you whatever we could not match. If you do copy a listing across, watch Etsy: Etsy allows two kinds of option per listing, so a product that is size, colour and material elsewhere has to fold down to two. We show you which products are affected before anything is published.

Can I charge a different price on Amazon?

Yes. Set a rule once for Amazon: a percentage, a fixed uplift, or a price you type yourself. We apply it whenever the price changes, and nothing forces Etsy and Amazon to the same number.

Does the tracking number go back to both shops?

Not to Amazon. Amazon has no way for us to send a tracking number back.

Can I create an order on Amazon from a sale on Etsy?

No. Etsy and Amazon hand orders out and do not accept orders created elsewhere. We pull both into one packing list so you still work from one place; each order stays on the channel it came from.

What happens if a buyer cancels or I refund them on Etsy or Amazon?

The stock goes back. A cancellation or a refund puts the item back into your count and we send the corrected number to both Etsy and Amazon.

Which plan do I need for Etsy and Amazon?

Lite covers Etsy and Amazon. Lite is $19 a month for two shops and holds 1,000 items, with up to eight connected integrations. You would move up a plan for catalogue size, and your bill goes up by another $19 if you connect a third shop.
