TikTok Shop & QuickBooks

TikTok Shop QuickBooks integration that keeps your books in step with your stock

For TikTok Shop sellers who file through QuickBooks. Sales that arrive in bursts still land as one invoice each, so a video that sells out a line leaves a row per order rather than a lump to unpick later. Stock stays right on the shop, and the books match the shelves without anybody typing it twice.

From $19 a month for two shops · no credit card · connected in about ten minutes · nothing changes until you say so · Updated 27 August 2026

How to connect

How to connect TikTok Shop and QuickBooks

Four steps and about ten minutes. The two connections are a login each; most of the time is us matching your catalogues, and nothing changes until you switch it on.

Connect TikTok Shop

You approve QuickSync in TikTok Shop Seller Center for the shop you want connected.

~1 minute

Connect QuickBooks

You sign in to Intuit and pick the company file. QuickSync writes to that company and nothing else.

~1 minute

Let it match your products

We line the two catalogues up by SKU, then by title, and hand you a short list of anything we could not match. You decide what happens to those.

~5 minutes

Watch, then switch it on

Leave it watching for a few days and check the numbers agree. When you are happy, let it start making changes, one shop at a time.

Running TikTok Shop alone versus with QuickBooks

Every TikTok Shop sale that is not written into QuickBooks is a stock figure and an invoice someone has to type twice, and a wrong stock figure is how you oversell. Connecting them removes that second pass.

Correcting QuickBooks takes under a second once we have the sale. The order is in your packing list with the TikTok Shop order number on it, and a tracking number added later goes back to TikTok Shop on its own.

There is no other direction: nothing is ever bought in QuickBooks, so it only ever receives.

Speed and limits

The limits: know them before you connect

Every TikTok Shop QuickBooks integration has constraints. These are the ones that apply here.

One direction only

A TikTok Shop sale becomes an invoice in QuickBooks in about a second. Nothing is ever bought in QuickBooks, so there is no second direction to wait on.

QuickBooks is your books, not a shop

Quantities in QuickBooks are a bookkeeping figure no shopper ever sees, and orders go in as invoices without coming back out. That is by design, not a gap.

Stock moves when you say so

QuickBooks is not a storefront, so there is no listing to publish. Stock and invoices move once you turn sync on; nothing invents a product page on TikTok Shop.

Direction, not speed

Fast in, and nothing comes back out

Both sides report changes immediately, so the thing to understand here is which way data can travel.

Neither platform on this pair sits behind a timer. TikTok Shop and QuickBooks both push changes to us as they happen, so a sale is written up without waiting to be noticed. That removes the usual worry about lag and leaves a more important one: QuickBooks takes orders in and never hands them out. Nothing you do in the company file will produce a TikTok Shop order or a TikTok Shop listing.

That is how accounting software is built rather than a feature we have not finished. QuickBooks holds no listings, no photos and no variants, and the number we write against an item there is for reporting rather than for anybody browsing. It is your figure and your accountant’s. If the plan was to run the catalogue out of the company file, this is the wrong shape for it, and better known on day one.

On the books

What a TikTok Shop sale looks like in QuickBooks

One invoice, product lines matched by SKU, and a separate line for anything else the order carried.

Each sale becomes an invoice. Every product on the order takes a line of its own, holding how many went and what each one cost, paired with the QuickBooks item that carries the same SKU. Anything charged on top of the goods is listed separately and named plainly, whether that is shipping, tax, a tip, a service charge, duties or extra fees, and only where the order actually had it. A simple order stays a simple invoice.

Tax deserves a moment. Outside Canada every line on the invoice is marked non-taxable, which stops QuickBooks calculating tax a second time and adding it on top of what TikTok Shop already collected. Canadian company files get your configured tax code applied to the lines instead. What we never post is the money side: no payouts, no card fees, no settlements. Those belong to whoever reconciles your bank.

Two limits round it off. TikTok Shop truncates a SKU longer than 50 characters, and since items match on SKU, a shortened one pairs with nothing and the quantity lands nowhere. QuickBooks has no field for a tracking number either, so if you post orders from this stock the tracking stays in QuickSync rather than appearing anywhere on the invoice.

Pricing

Two shops fits the smallest plan

Your catalogue size picks the plan, and your plan price covers two connected shops with every shop after that adding it again. Three shops on Lite is $38 a month.

Lite

$19/mo for two shops

1,000 items and up to eight connected integrations, with stock matched on both sides automatically. Enough for TikTok Shop and QuickBooks on their own, at $19 a month for the two.

Pro

$29/mo for two shops

2,500 items and up to eight connected integrations. Listings and orders sync here as well as stock. Most sellers running two shops properly end up here.

Ultra at $69 and Ultra+ at $99 add larger catalogues, price rules and setup help. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no card.

FAQ

Questions people ask about this pair

How quickly does QuickBooks update after something sells on TikTok Shop?

Under a second in normal conditions. TikTok Shop tells us the moment the sale happens, and the invoice and the stock figure are written to QuickBooks straight away. Nothing is ever bought in QuickBooks itself, so there is no sale there for us to go looking for. If QuickBooks is briefly unreachable we hold the update and keep trying rather than dropping it.

Can QuickBooks track TikTok Shop sales and inventory?

Yes. Each TikTok Shop sale is written into the company file as an invoice, with product lines matched by SKU, and the quantity on hand is kept in step. It does not work in reverse: QuickBooks does not hand orders back out, and it holds no listings, so nothing flows from your books to the shop.

Will QuickSync post TikTok Shop payouts and fees to QuickBooks?

No. We write the sale rather than the settlement, so payouts, card fees and settlements are not something we post. The invoice carries the product lines plus shipping, tax, tip, service charge, additional fees and duties where the order had them. Reconciling the deposit that reaches your bank is a separate job.

Do my TikTok Shop products show up as listings in QuickBooks?

No. QuickBooks is your books, not a storefront, so there is nothing to list. We write the item and the quantity as a bookkeeping figure, and orders arrive as invoices.

Do prices sync from TikTok Shop to QuickBooks?

One way, yes. The price you set on TikTok Shop is written to the matching item in QuickBooks, so the books read what you actually charge. QuickBooks never writes a price back, so that number stays yours to set on TikTok Shop.

Does the tracking number go back to TikTok Shop?

Yes, to TikTok Shop. When you add a tracking number to an order we send it back and the buyer gets the shop’s normal notification. QuickBooks holds the invoice rather than the buyer, so there is nobody there to notify.

Do orders flow both ways with QuickBooks?

No. A TikTok Shop sale becomes an invoice in QuickBooks. Nothing is imported back out of QuickBooks into your shops; it is a one-way accounting sink by design.

What happens if I refund a TikTok Shop order?

The stock goes back on TikTok Shop and the quantity on the books updates with it. Handle the invoice credit in QuickBooks the way you normally would; we keep the quantity right, not your accountant’s credit-note workflow.

Which plan do I need for TikTok Shop and QuickBooks?

Lite covers TikTok Shop and QuickBooks. Lite is $19 a month for two shops and holds 1,000 items, with up to eight connected integrations. You would move up a plan for catalogue size, and your bill goes up by another $19 if you connect a third shop.
