1. I can’t install QuickSync from the app store. What should I check? #

If you cannot install QuickSync from your platform’s app store, check the following:

Verify Admin Access: #

Make sure you are logged in with administrator permissions on your sales channel platform, such as Shopify, Square, or Clover. Only administrators can install third-party apps.

Clear Browser Cache: #

Sometimes browser cache can interfere with the installation process. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies before attempting installation again.

Try a Different Browser: #

If the issue persists, try installing the app using another browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

2. I installed QuickSync, but it’s not connecting to my store. #

If QuickSync installs successfully but fails to connect to your store, the issue may be related to permissions or connectivity.

Check App Permissions: #

During installation, QuickSync requests specific permissions required to sync your products, inventory, and orders. Ensure that all required permissions were granted during setup.

  • Avoid removing the app unless you intend to stop syncing completely.

Once the app is removed from your sales channel, QuickSync can no longer sync your data.

4. My products or inventory are not syncing after installation. #

If your products or inventory are not syncing after installing QuickSync, there are a few possible causes.

Initial Sync May Still Be Running: #

For stores with large product catalogs, the initial product sync may take additional time. Wait until the initial syncing process is completed.

Inventory Syncing May Be Disabled: #

Verify that inventory syncing is enabled in your QuickSync dashboard. If the feature is disabled, inventory updates will not be pushed between your connected stores.

Once enabled, QuickSync will begin syncing stock levels automatically.

5. Do I need special firewall or network settings? #

QuickSync does not require any special firewall or network configuration. However, your network should allow standard secure HTTPS traffic (port 443) so the application can communicate with your sales platforms.

If your network blocks this traffic, QuickSync may not be able to connect or sync data properly.
